Our dedicated and talented team bring a wealth of experience and achievements.
Selene is a London-based dance artist and workshop leader born in Trento, Italy.
She started her professional studies in Milan and continued her journey at Trinity Laban in London. She graduated in 2016 with a first class degree and in 2017 with a MA in Dance Performance.
Selene was a company member of Transitions Dance Company in London for 2016/17 and works and tours nationally and internationally as a freelance dance artist with Wriggle Dance Theatre, Fuora Dance Project, Jess Murray Dance, Baejjahn Dance Company, Keneish Dance, A Truefitt Collective, Collettivo Clochart, Sonia Sabri Company, Sonrisa Arts, Amina Kahyyam Dance Company and others in Europe.
Selene was cast as one of the main characters in the experimental film ‘Prisoners of the Body’ in Munich directed by Elisa Nadal which has been selected as one of the four finalist films in the Best National/International Experimental Film' category at the Student Oscars® 2020 in Los Angeles.
She also performed in an interdisciplinary work by the research oriented artist and writer Monika Jaeckel in 2020 and toured work by the poet Adam Kammerling in 2022.
Selene joined Waggle Dance Co. for the production DANCE MAVEN in 2024.

Juliana Ruiz Torres is a Colombian Interdisciplinary Artist-Researcher based in London. She holds a BA in Performing Arts with an emphasis in Somatic and a BA in Social Communications with an emphasis in Editorial Production from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá.
She recently culminated with distinction The MFA of Dance and Embodied Practice at the University of Roehampton, London.
She believes in the arts as tools to establish meaningful, reflexive and transformative conversations within communities. She has a background in education, working as a facilitator and teacher for more than ten years.
She has collaborated with projects in Colombia and the UK as a researcher, facilitator, performer, dancer, producer and movement director.
Juliana joined Waggle Dance Co. for the production DANCE MAVEN in 2024.
Naomi Chockler (She/Her) is a dancer, choreographer, and writer from London. Her passion for reading and writing poetry has fuelled many of her choreographic pursuits, as she strongly believes in the synergy between text and movement.
In May 2023 she premiered her first public work ...If I wanted I could use this time wisely, described as "original, intricate, musical, expansive" (Matthew Paluch).
Naomi's formative years were spent honing her craft at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, where she cultivated her passion for highly physical and expressive movement language.
In 2022, whilst working at DanceEast, she co-devised a duet Unfamiliar Winds, an outdoor work touring various area. This piece sought to captivate audiences of all ages through engaging elements such as sing-alongs and comedy, underscoring Naomi's curiosity in creating family-friendly works and fostering inclusive artistic experiences.
Naomi has performed at prestigious venues and events, including the Royal Opera House in the revival of 'Macbeth' and the opening ceremony of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. She has collaborated with a diverse array of esteemed artists, including Annie Hanauer, Barnaby Booth and FUBUNATION.
