This month, we’re sending special thanks to the team at Waggle Dance Co. They’ve been quietly working wonders — printing posters, handing out leaflets, designing social media content, coordinating logistics (and more!). We truly believe this upcoming workshop will be one of our best yet.
With just a few weeks to go before the party, here’s everything you need to know about Hive Five, our celebratory bash for Waggle’s 5th birthday.

What to Expect at Hive5
We’ve got two uplifting hours full of creativity, movement, connection, and fun:
🎨 Arts & Crafts — hands-on, imaginative projects
📖 Storytelling with Danielle — we’ll bring a magical story to life through acting & dance
💃 Waggle Dance with Issy — you’ll learn a short routine, play games, and join in a mini disco
🎂 Birthday Cake Time — what’s a birthday without cake?!
Why We’d Love You There
This event is about more than celebration — it’s about community, connection, and marking a milestone together. Based in Enfield, we’re proud to partner with local organisations like the Enfield Culture Network, and with generous support from Pearly Queen Honey, Green Bee Coffee, Flat Earth Pizzas, and Active Events — we’ll have prizes to give away in our
Hive5 Prize Draw.
- Prize Draw tickets: £5 (available until 25/10/2025)
- All funds go into making the party extra special: food, cake, craft materials, staff costs etc.
- Through the charityhive platform we are making the prize draw easy to join by answering a question & buying a ticket for £5 you’ll be added to the draw and the winners announced 25/10/2025

Our Philosophy & Vision
At Waggle Dance Co., we believe every child is uniquely brilliant. Movement is one of the best ways they can explore themselves — their strength, imagination, and voice. Our workshops invite children to craft their own waggle dance, embracing individuality with joy, creativity, and connection.
Looking ahead over the next five years, we dream of:
- Expanding into new locations with parent–toddler classes
- Deepening engagement with home-educator communities
