We are having a great start to May. It is so great to be dancing outdoors again!

We have another exciting event coming up at Broomfield Park with the National Lottery Heritage Fund, where we will be meeting next to the Palmers Greenery Cafe on Saturday 24th May.

To celebrate World Bee Day, Waggle Dance Co will be there at Broomfield Park with a

1-hour-long creative dance workshop and hope to capture on film a mass Waggle Dance! Filmed by Abi Sinclair, shoutout to Matchbox!

Also crafting alongside us is Zoe from Zinfinity - come along and join us for a family friendly social event all about the bees

We have expanded our team of facilitators this year to help me out whilst I get prepped for my wedding in June. It’s been so wonderful to have Issy come back to us with all her amazing energy & enthusiasm, and to also welcome newer faces on board.

We can’t thank you enough & know you’ll have an absolute ball teaching Waggle Dance Workshops at Lambeth Country Show, where we are returning this year, June 7th & June 8th at the Arts & Culture tent in Brockwell Park. That’s coming up very soon!

The B of the Bang in Manchester was a structure made very close to the Etihad Stadium, which was created for the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002. The link to my Grandparents, Dorothy & Eric, is strong as this area was where they were born & raised. I have always been a proud Mancunian and the emblem of the city where I’m from is the bees; so it made sense to name the company Waggle Dance Co. est 2020. The ‘B’ of the bang now also represents a change in name for me as well, as I shall become Mrs B in a few weeks' time.

I’m very excited to be dancing with my friends and family on the big day. A lot of cyclical things are happening around here.
